Congratulations to the student teams from the Thompson-Okanagan Section for their remarkable achievements in the IEEExtreme 2024 Programming Competition. IEEExtreme is a global 24-hour challenge in which student teams solve a series of complex programming problems under time pressure. Organized by the IEEE, this competition fosters innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence among the next generation of computing professionals.

Thompson Rivers University’s team also achieved a commendable result, placing #40 in Canada and 4656 globally, reflecting the institution’s growing strength in competitive programming.
